Class 1 had lots of fun making their Easter activities, which included Easter cards for their families, decorating eggs and making chocolate nests.
One of the crafts symbolised 'New Life,' and we discussed why we celebrate Easter, which encoraged lots of discussions about chocolate and bunnies. However, there were also statements from children such as 'Jesus died for us', and 'He came alive after 3 days', and we were able to discuss how eggs, chicks and bunnies all represent the 'New Life' promised to us by God.
The Easter egg hunt led by Mr Dixon was a success, and the children enjoyed exerting some energy around the playground and woodland area before the rain came.
Hopefully, we will enjoy some sunnier days in the New Term and enjoy some outdoor learning!
