The children have had a great first half term and have all worked so hard!

They have enjoyed our 'Superhero' topic, where we have read and acted out 'Superworm', Super Me' and 'Supertato', which has presented lots of opportunities to develop langauge and writing skills, as well as enriching social and emotional development.

We have also made comparisons with the many lovely books that the author Julia Donaldson has written, including 'The Highway Rat', and some of the children have even been kind enough to bring in some of their books from home to share with the class!

It is great to see that so many of Class 1 enjoy reading and they certainly know a good author when they see one!
